2019 Torcia Cabernet Sauvignon, Atlas Peak, Napa Valley - 2 Bottles

Vibrant fruit flavors of cherry and ripe blackberry with toasted oak and mocha stand out in the glass. The warm days of Atlas Peak deliver ripe and dried fruit notes of cassis, currants and cherries. The rich tannins, which are the hallmark of Atlas Peak, make for a structured and lean mid-palate. Our winemaker used less new oak for this wine to maintain the delicate fruit character and mid-palate that is evident in the early stages of this wine’s life. While
young, this wine is lean and highly structured and over time will broaden, drawing out the flavors on the already lengthy finish.

The Atlas Peak appellation sits high above the valley floor bordering the east side of Napa Valley. The elevation provides warm days and cooler nights during the growing season. Made up of decomposed volcanic rock, the shallow soils of Atlas Peak’s vineyards help produce small, concentrated berries that provide big tannic structure and a leaner style of Cabernet Sauvignon.
