Whiskey making and entrepreneurship has been in the Teeling genes as far back as 1782, when Walter Teeling set up a small craft distillery on Marrowbone Lane, Dublin 8. Back in the heart of the Liberties district of Dublin, Jack and Stephen Teeling—the latest generation of whiskey makers—established the Teeling Whiskey Company. In March 2015, they opened the first new distillery in Dublin in over 125 years. They're located just a stone’s throw from their ancestral distillery in the heart of the Golden Triangle. Grounded in the traditions of the past, but looking towards the future, this new generation of Dublin distillers approaches their craft with great respect for generations passed and the confidence to forge the next chapter of Irish and Dublin whiskey.

Teeling Single Grain Irish Whiskey is crafted using an unconventional mash bill consisting of 95% corn and 5% malted barley that has been column distilled and matured exclusively in American Red Wine casks, imparting a highly distinct red-berry and tannic profile.

Distinct red grape and berry profile, with a hint of spice and an underlying sweetness. A silky smooth mouthfeel, with a touch of spice and deep berry notes that balance the sweet undertones. The tannic influence of the red wine creates a unique, short, dry finish, encouraging another sip.

The first whiskey distilled in Dublin in nearly 50 years, their Single Pot Still pays homage to a Dublin style made famous by the old Dublin whiskey distilleries. The mash bill consists of 50% malted and 50% unmalted barley which is triple distilled and matured in a combination of American Virgin Oak, Bourbon, and Sherry casks. The sweet biscuit element of the malted barley blends effortlessly with the spice and cream elements of the unmalted spring barley. The use of a wooden wash back gives our pot still whiskey its fruity and light floral nose. Triple distilled, Teeling's Pot Stills preserve the grain and fermentation elements to maintain that spicy and creamy mouth feel. Each barrel imparts different flavors for a unique spice, cream, and muscovado sweetness. This whiskey is bottled at 46% ABV with no chill filtration for true character.
