Pro-Ject has decided to go after the cheap plastic turntable market with a high quality alternative that comes complete with an Ortofon cartridge. The Elemental is “plug’n’play” all the way. No adjustment of the counterweight nor antiskating is needed because both are pre-adjusted at the factory. The straight ultra-low-mass tonearm is optimized for the Ortofon OM cartridge series. All the you need to do is remove it from the box, remove the bearing guard, install the belt around the platter, remove stylus guard, and plug it in!

The hidden secret to the Elemental's sonic success is a central gravity mass point made from artificial stone and placed directly underneath the platter bearing. It is capable of fully absorbing unwanted rumble and motor vibration. This turntable appears to be pure simplicity itself, while maintaining high quality audio standards.

No, it does not have a Bluetooth connection.

Are speakers required for this turntable or is sound inherent to design?

Will this turntable turn off automatically when the album is finished?

No, the platter will not stop spinning until you disengage the power. There is, however, a dampened cueing lever that allows you to lift and lower the arm without touching it!
