No, this is a conventional turntable that requires a full system (phono preamp, amplifier/receiver & speakers).
Is this vertical?It is not. It plays records horizontally like normal.
Does it have auto shut off at the end of the album?It does not. It's a fully manual machine but does have a dampened cueing lever which allows you to slowly raise and lower the tonearm without touch it.
