Boron requires a very specialized machining processes to whip into shape. It is an exceptionally hard, ceramic-like substance with an ethereally light feel, but much like the diamond, its hardness comes with the penalty of brittleness. A good deal of care should be taken to avoid dropping this cube, as it may shatter.
