Can you go swimming in the pool with it?

Yes, you can wear it while swimming, however, the bluetooth connection might be not stable. This is due to the limitation of the bluetooth technology. No bluetooth devices can keep stably connecting under water.

Are calls (phone, zoom) transmitted in both ears or dominant in just one ear piece?

It's in both ears. You can use either left/right side earbud to answer/end calls.
