Option Lock

Option Lock is the invention of designer Scott, who came up with the idea after he moved to Marina Del Rey, and began riding his bike almost everywhere.

He discovered the challenges of finding a good spot to lock up, especially when bike racks were full and he had to squeeze his bike into crowded bike racks or tether his bike to a pole or fence. As he did this day in and day out, his bike frame would get scratched, or he couldn't easily get to his bike lock. The shackle had typically fallen between pedals or other people’s wheels.

Scott wondered why bike locks didn't just come with locking mechanisms on both sides - so he invented one that did. The Option Lock is the perfect anti bike theft solution for bike enthusiasts of all ages. It is the only lock that breaks down into four pieces for easy storage, and offers bikers two keyways for multiple lock access.

The patented, award-winning design comes with two brass keys and a durable eco-friendly mounting case. Not only does the lock look nice, but it's rubber-coated to prevent scratches and weather resistant to prevent corrosion. It's built from high-grade steel, has rotating lock covers and is built for theft protection and toughness.

Most importantly, it lets riders lock and unlock their bike from the top, bottom, or side to side, so they can get at their lock no matter where they park the bike.
