Offered here is a rare group of 4 consecutive STAR 2017 “A” $50 “A” Federal Reserve notes.

STAR Notes are far more valuable than a regular printed note. When The Bureau of Engraving and Printing or BEP prints a sheet of notes and they are damaged in any way, the notes must be destroyed. By law, they need to print notes bearing the damaged serial numbers. When they print the new notes, they must bear a STAR in front of the serial number which designates the note as a “replacement note.”

It is extremely rare to find STAR notes in this grade. The notes are centered very well, and the ink just pops off the notes. The colors are bright and bold. The notes have fantastic eye appeal. The notes show no sign of wear on the corners or the sides. All of the corners and edges of the notes are crisp and clean. There are no pinholes, rips, stains, or tears.
