Being offered here is a super rare $5 Dollar 1953 “A” series Silver Certificate Note. This note has been graded in PMG 67 Superb Gem Uncirculated EPQ. The Superb Gem Uncirculated designation shows that the note looks like it was just printed. The EPQ stands for Exceptional Paper Quality. This grading is the highest you can get under the PMG guidelines for a 67 grade. You just don’t find notes graded this high everyday.
Silver Certificates are designated by the Blue Seal on the right center of the note. It also has “Silver Certificate” on the top center of the note. The note is centered perfectly, and the ink just pops off the notes. The colors are bright and bold. This note has fantastic eye appeal. The note shows no sign of wear on the corners or the sides. All of the corners and edges of the notes are crisp and clean. There are no pinholes, rips, stains, or tears. The note is encased in a long-term preservation holder.
