1928 A $1 Silver Certificate 6 Consecutive // # 045 - 050
Product Description
Being offered her is a super rare set of 6 consecutive $1 Dollar 1928 A “Funny Back” Series Silver Certificate. What makes this set unusual is the fact that they all come from the same side of the sheet—the left side of the sheet—which you can tell by the plate position letters on the notes. They start from the A position and go to the F position. It is very very rare to find 6 consecutive notes from the same side of the sheet, especially in this high of a grade. Despite being 94 years old, these note look like they were just printed yesterday.
The Funny Back name was given to the 1928 series due to the fact that the back of the note looks like play money or “Monopoly” money. The Silver Certificate is designated by the Blue Seal on the left center of the note. It also has “Silver Certificate” on the top center of the note. The notes are all in Choice Uncirculated condition.
The notes are all centered very well, and the ink just pops off the notes. The colors are bright and bold. All of the notes offered here have fantastic eye appeal with no sign of wear on the corners or the sides. All of the corners and edges of the notes are crisp and clean. There are no pinholes, rips, stains, or tears. The notes pictured in this group are the notes you will receive.
This group contains some truly pristine examples that offer an excellent investment opportunity. If you are an avid collector of true quality currency, then this is the one for you.
