A very nice Ancient Egypt faience ushabti figure, Late Dynastic Period, c. 664-535 BC. Depicted mummiform, arms crossed, holding pick and hoe. Vertical register of hieroglyphic inscription of the Book of the Dead down front. Blue-green to brown coloration. H: 3 3/4".
