Product Description
A very nice Byzantine bronze cross, circa 8th-12th century AD. The cross is heavily engraved, one side inscribed in Greek text both vertically and horizontally, possibly with the name of a saint, or even the name of the original owner, the other side with a dotted circular central element, with dotted designs along the bars. Set into a custom .925 silver pendant bezel and 18-inch Italian silver chain. The cross with lovely olive-green patina. Total bezel height including loop 2".
